The accountants got a number the bailiffs got a bomb
The sushi chef is half undressed and I’m remaining calm
The whisky tastes like water the champagne isn’t chilled
The pale horse you rode in on looks a little green around the gills

And the band’s half-baked the horn’s are on fire
Medusas playing bass behind a fallen angel choir
Welcome to another night in hell.

The cash drawers just been ravaged
The bar stools all look famished
The waitresses all vanish when you tell them what you want
Now Stalin's taking pictures of Lenin's fever blisters
And Dante’s hung a sign up that says, “Try and remain calm

And the bands half-baked the horns are on fire

Methuselah’s in swaddling cloths Rasputin’s taking bows
Guess the revolution ended when they killed the sacred cow
Lugosi's riding shotgun and the limousine’s a hearse
And no ones feeling very well something ‘bout a curse
And the toilets overflowing the pipes whistle and sing
The plumbing’s overloaded smells like Venice in the spring
And the kitchens pushing ptomaine the door mans got a migraine
